PREMIUM PERFORMS AND SAVES BIG TIME!

Many diesel fuel users think of using a premium product only in the winter. But consider this: when is performance not important to you?

Current higher prices magnify the 3-5% increased fuel economy savings Cenex® Premium Diesel products like Ruby Fieldmaster® and Roadmaster XLR® give you.

So, what are some of the benefits of using a premium diesel in the spring, summer or fall? The answer depends on your equipment.

For new equipment, premium diesel offers increased performance and protects expensive fuel system and emissions components. With older equipment, a major advantage of premium diesel is the ability to manage water and condensation that forms in the system and shortens fuel filter life.

Cenex sells a billion gallons of premium diesel annually, so our customers form the largest test group.

Here are three things we’ve discovered:

  1. Premium diesel is terminally injected, so it’s a more consistent product than splash blended addititives. We can address issues that we see with water or performance or fuel components that fail.
  2. Emulsifiers contained in premium diesel force water to the bottom of the tank where it can be drained and removed (which is what OEM’s want).
  3. Farmers like you are trying to tighten their belts. Those choosing to burn Cenex Premium Diesel can look forward to saving money.

As I noted at the beginning of this story, Cenex Premium Diesels offer 3-5% better fuel economy. That means a savings of 12-25 centers per gallon if you are buying Roadmaster XL at $5.00 per gallon. In addition to increased performance and protection, then, the use of Cenex Premium Diesel has a much bigger impact on your bottom line as fuel prices rise.

If you have more questions, give me a call at 715-218-3792 or Isaac Brown at 715-660-6448, and remember to ask for Cenex Premium Diesel when you order your next fill.
