ProVision Partners Feed Team Recognized at Purina Summit
Posted: 4/25/2022
The feed team at ProVision Partners Coop was recently honored with a prestigious Summit Award for Sales Leadership. Every year, Purina sales staff from across the country are eligible to achieve National Summit Club which is a sales milestone for individuals based on sales. Sales staff that do not sell at a certain level are not qualified to go the national convention which takes place at a predetermined site annually in the US. This year's event was held in San Antonio.
"Many of our sales staff have achieved this award several times individually but this is the first time in the Summit Club history that Purina has congratulated a sales team," said Ed Sabey, Feed Division Manager. "To take an individual achievement award and turn it into a team award is a true testimony to the quality of employees we have at PVP and we are very proud of them."
"It's a once-in-a-lifetime award," added Howard Hoffman, team leader. "Our team is very professional and high performing. I was asked to host the team at the event and it was very humbling to see the honor that the team was given.
Sabey and Hoffman are not only proud of the team, but also the positive impact these recognitions have on the coop as a whole.
"Since our sales team is so successful together, that ultimately means our producers are the real winners," said Sabey. "Provision’s sales staff's main objective is for the farm to achieve profitability, sustainability and they start with the farm’s forage and they structure their feed plans according to what the producers objectives are. This ultimately translates into profit sharing for our stock holders of Provision Partners."
