ProVision Partners Cooperative has purchased the Granton Convenience Store

Posted: 8/23/2021

On August 17, 2021, ProVision Partners will begin operation of the Granton Convenience store located at N4461 County Road K. The store will be rebranded Cenex but will have the same familiar faces and most of the current offerings.  It will be closed on August 16 to undergo the conversion and open on the 17th as Cenex under the management of ProVision Partners Cooperative.

At ProVision Partners Cooperative - Cenex C-Store, guests can find their favorite snacks, quality fuel and welcome smiles from the staff. The Granton location will be the 10th ProVision Partners Cenex C-Store, joining locations in Colby, Pittsville, Stratford, Auburndale, Hixton, Fairchild, Northfield, Merrilan, Black River Falls and gas pumps in Chili.

"We're excited to expand our footprint here in Central Wisconsin,” said Troy Thompson, Energy Division Manager. "We are proud to be local, member owned and uphold the Cenex tradition of “Home Town Pride” and “Powered Locally” in the Granton community.

As an added convenience, each store is equipped with ATM machines, LP Cylinder exchanges and "24-hour pay-at-the-pump for on-the-go people." ProVision Partners Cooperative makes it easy to pay as well, accepting all major credit cards, including the popular Cenex Card.

In April 2015, the cooperative board of directors voted to adopt ProVision Partners™ as the business name of the new cooperative formed by the unification of Central Wisconsin Cooperative and Harmony Country Cooperative. At that time, the new tagline, Growing Together, was positioned in the logo as a foundation for illustrating the ProVision Partners brand promise to its customers and communities. That merger resulted in 4 Cenex Stores and in 2019 ProVision Partners merged with Federation Cooperative and gained additional Cenex Stores in Fairchild, Merrillan, Northfield, Hixton and Black River Falls.

"At ProVision Partners Cooperative, we believe in supporting our communities with fair and honest pricing. Our products are always quality and competitively priced,” said Thompson. "You can have the satisfaction of supporting your hometown, locally staffed Cenex Cooperative and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your vehicle is running on genuine Cenex fuel."

"Every day we connect customers to resources that nourish their land, livestock and livelihood—conveys our unique ability to serve our members and customers with outstanding services and solutions tailored for their needs," said Rob Larson, General Manager.
